Hmmm. I've never thought about using it to make cleaner lines... will definitely have to try that. Now that I think about it, it also solve the shadow curse : when you don't have a good ambient light, your hand cast shadow on the sketch and it's more difficult to draw nice lines...
I think I'll use more often my home made light box again! (a Plexiglass with a small fluorescent light tube under)
